What is SkinFirm?
SkinFirm is a SkinCeuticals SkinLab signature treatment created to rejuvenate the skin with microneedling and the SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 gel. This treatment reaches the deeper layers of skin to leave you with a firmer, more youthful-looking complexion.
The SkinFirm Treatment
Your SkinFirm treatment will involve microneedling, which is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a special microneedling pen that contains many tiny, sterilized needles. When passed across the skin, this device created micro-wounds in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, resulting in a reduction of skin aging. When used along with our Hydrating B5 gel, patients can enjoy noticeable results quickly. The Hydrating B5 gel is an oil-free hydrating serum that contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 to help restore moisture and radiance to the skin for a smooth and glowing complexion. Ideal for all skin types and is great for acne-prone skin.

SkinFirm Candidates
Individuals who are looking to improve mild signs of aging such as light wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, or hyperpigmentation can often benefit from this treatment. However, it is important to understand that microneedling is not ideal to treat deep or severe lines and wrinkles or skin laxity. This treatment is also not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. A consultation appointment at our office is the best way to determine if you are a good candidate for this treatment.
SkinFirm Results
There is no downtime associated with the SkinFirm treatment, so you can feel free to return to your daily routine right away. You may experience some slight redness or swelling in the treatment areas, which will dissipate over time. Also, be sure to wear sunscreen if spending time outdoors as your skin will be sensitive for the first couple of days post-treatment.
