Who Can Benefit from Sciton® Forever Young™?

Individuals who are looking to improve light signs of aging or who wish to prevent aging before it occurs can often benefit from the Sciton® Forever Young™ treatment. Generally, BBL treatments work best on lighter skin tones, though some darker tones may be able to benefit as well. The Sciton® Forever Young™ Procedure

During your Forever Young™ BBL treatment, you will be given protective eyewear to put on, and a cool gel will first be applied to the treatment area. The system will then use infrared light technology to visibly improve the topmost layers of skin, while also revitalizing old skin cells below the dermis. You will receive 3-4 passes of light during this procedure for the best results. 

Pass 1: 

This first pass is a base pass to address the overall appearance of your skin. 

Pass 2: 

This pass is the corrective vascular pass to lighten the look of small visible vessels, flushing, or telangiectasias.  

Pass 3: 

Call the corrective pigment pass, this third pass targets pigmented lesions. 

Pass 4:

 The fourth pass is optional, and provides deep heating to stimulate tissues deeper in the skin to tighten the skin. 

Overall, this treatment is very quick, as a full-face treatment can be performed in as little as 15 minutes.  

Sciton® Forever Young™ Results

There is no downtime required following this treatment, so you can return to your regular activities right away. Mild redness may occur for some, which will resolve in a few hours. If you received this treatment to soften the appearance of sunspots and freckles, these areas will darken after treatment, and then flake off within 1-2 weeks. Your skin will be sensitive after treatment, so be sure to wear sunscreen when spending time outdoors. We recommend patients receive Sciton® Forever Young treatments at least two times per year for the best results.
