Who can Benefit from Juvéderm® Volbella XC?

Patients 21 years and older who are looking to soften lines around their mouth or add plumpness to their lips can benefit from this filler. However, you should not receive this treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a history of keloid scarring, have been diagnosed with pigmentation disorders. The Juvéderm® Volbella XC Treatment

During your Juvéderm® Volbella XC appointment, your injector will first pinpoint the areas to be treated and then cleanse them. While this filler does contain lidocaine, we also offer topical numbing cream if desired to ensure your comfort. Then, the Volbella will be carefully injected into the appropriate areas using a very fine needle. Your injector may then gently massage the area to ensure that the filler is distributed evenly.  Treatment generally takes about 15-30 minutes to complete, depending on the number of areas being addressed. 

Juvéderm® Volbella XC Results

After your Juvéderm® Volbella XC treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or itching at the injection site. While there is no downtime required, we do recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and alcohol consumption for 24 hours after your treatment for the best results. While some patients can begin to see results after a couple of days, final results will be visible 1-2 weeks after your injection. Results can last up to one year.
