
Practice Administrator and Director of Operations
Dr. Bridget Brozyna joined our practice in December of 2019. A family practice clinical nurse specialist, Dr. Brozyna is a recognized process improvement and transformational leader. She is also a recognized expert in evidence-based practice and evidence-based quality improvement.
Dr. Brozyna earned her BSN and MSN from the University of Maine, Orono, Maine and her DNP in Nursing Practice and Executive Leadership from The Ohio State University, graduating with top distinction in 2021. She was recently elected as Treasurer for the local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and holds an Advanced Nurse Executive national certification.
Prior to joining our team at PSA, Dr. Brozyna was a Project Director for the Henry Jackson Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance military medicine. She was responsible for a large team of both active duty and civilian nurses and researchers from four separate geographic locations to establish evidence-based practice policies and processes Air Force wide. Dr. Brozyna also served in multiple roles within the Department of Veterans Affairs to include manager, family nurse practitioner and Nurse Executive. In addition, Dr. Brozyna has had a distinguished and decorated career in the United States Air Force, serving five years on active duty, and 25 years in the Air Force Reserves as an Individual Mobility Augmentee. She served in progressive leadership positions within the Air Force, to include work as a Senior Nurse Consultant for the Air Force Surgeon General’s Office, a tour in Afghanistan in 2010, and most recently as the Senior Reservist for the Human Performance Wing and Air Force Research Laboratory, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, overseeing research, training and readiness for over 200 reservists. Dr. Brozyna retired as the rank of Colonel after 30 years of service.
